The firm
Ryan Langan runs Your Path Fi, an independent fee-only RIA in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He works only with pre-retirees and recently retired clients, with a core focus on income planning, tax planning, and investment management.
The planning starts with more than numbers. Ryan likes to dig into what a client's purpose in retirement is and what brings them joy, then use the resources they have built to fund that life.
What the audit showed
Ryan's first look at his WealthReach website audit was, in his words, "definitely a little shocking, definitely a little eye-opening." He does not describe himself as someone who understands the inner workings of a website, and the report made the gap plain.
The old site was not passively doing work for him: not displaying his value, not communicating the experience he provides, and not reaching the clients he wanted to speak to. Some of the fixes were small and technical. "Headers on the pages, meta-indexing, just small details that actually are very, very impactful," he says.
The larger job was the content and flow of the site. Wealth management is a relationship business, and choosing an advisor is a big decision. A site that shares the experience and the service a client can expect, he says, "is going to go a long way when clients are landing on your site."
“The current website isn't working for me. It's not passively doing work for me.”
A personal, collaborative build
Onboarding started with a walk through the audit report: where the site stood, what was not working, and what could be improved. Once Ryan decided it was a fit, the first onboarding meeting ran "probably a 60 to 90-minute meeting" to learn who he is, who his ideal client is, the service he provides, and his areas of specialty.
That material shaped the first pass. From there it was a back-and-forth on each page rather than a finished product handed over. "It was never a sense of, here's the first pass, here's the site, everything is done," he says. "It was very collaborative and input-based."
Results since launch
Ryan points first to the growth in visitors to the site, and then to what followed. "Since the new site has been launched, there's definitely been an uptick in prospective clients reaching out, booking introduction calls, new clients."
The part he finds most exciting is where some of them came from. "Over the last couple months, I've had at least two now, prospective clients, let me know that they found me through AI searches," he says, and those prospects turned into clients. He credits the site and the work it does to reach the language models that recommend firms when people search.

Content with a purpose behind it
Ryan already creates written posts and short-form video, and is starting on long-form. For the written side, he uses Attract, the content tool built into the site. It knows his firm, his ideal client, his service offering, his value proposition, and even his fee structure, and runs SEO and AEO research to suggest site tweaks and topics worth writing.
Each idea comes with a score, an 82 for a high-value topic, for example, and every draft is fully editable before it publishes. "We can write a great piece, but if nobody ever finds it on Google or an AI engine, it's almost invisible," he says. The tool then tracks each page after it goes live: when Google indexes it, whether it is gaining traction, and what to refine.
The time cost is modest. "I could probably dedicate 45 minutes to an hour a week to put out three new pieces of content."
