A general website for a specific practice
Thomas Manetta serves a particular market: people aged 55 to 65 in the ten years before retirement, making sure everything is set up properly so they do not miss anything. His website, upgraded a couple of years earlier when he started the company, did not say so. "It was just a very general website," he says. "I wasn't targeting a specific niche market."
Publishing was the other problem. He was not putting his content out consistently and had no working blog. The person who built the site on Webflow handed him a 12-page manual on how to post to it. "It was like, I have no idea how to do that, and it would take too much time."
“It was just a very general website. I wasn't targeting a specific niche market.”
Built to be found by AI
Thomas heard people on LinkedIn talking about WealthReach, booked a demo, and signed up once he saw the publishing problem solved. The bigger reason was where search is going. "I feel like I need to be found by ChatGPT or by Claude," he says. "People are going to search for advisors. They already are."
He had been putting real effort into a podcast aimed at his niche. WealthReach brought that, his videos, and his written content together in one place. In his words, it turned "a very general website into a living, breathing website that gets upgraded on a consistent basis."
The ChatGPT audit, fixed in seconds
On the morning of the interview, Thomas ran an audit through ChatGPT on his own name. The first thing it reported was that ten other people share his name, one of them in the same industry, and that he should make his name distinct and consistent across his website using his middle initial and his master's designation.
So he opened the chat tab on his site and asked it to make his name appear as Thomas J. Manetta, MSFA across the entire website. "Within seconds it was done," he says, "and it was across the entire website."
Edits can be rolled back just as quickly. "I don't write code," he says. "I don't know how to do those things that I can do now in minutes."
“Within seconds it was done, and it was across the entire website.”
A weekly routine
Thomas records video early in the week, both long and short form. Midweek he reviews the content implementations WealthReach suggests for the written side. "It's not like I have to accept all of them," he says, "but some of them are like, oh, that's the one I want, that's perfect. I accept it, publish it, boom, it's done."
The same ChatGPT audit listed recent, consistent material aimed at his market as one of his strengths. He also notices the drafts sounding more like him as the system learns from his edits and his posts.
Where he expects it to go
Asked whether the new site has booked appointments yet, Thomas is direct: "I haven't yet." His plan is to pair the site with a daily stream of podcast and video content and targeted outreach to his market, so that anyone who looks him up finds the same message on his website. He expects it "to begin to show results" in the next three to six months.
His advice to other advisors is about clarity before tools. "Figure out what market, where you do your best work, and then put that on blast," he says. Would he choose WealthReach again? "Absolutely."
